Yes, you can create different versions of a book from the same trip, for example with different book titles or personal notes.

All settings on the Choose footprints and Customize pages can be different for each book. The underlying Footprints and trip settings, however, are shared.

How do I create different versions?

1. Create your first book and select the Footprints you want to include.
2. Choose your book title and settings on the Customize page.
3. Create a separate book from the same trip for the second version. Select its Footprints and choose its own title and customisation settings.
4. Review both book previews before ordering.

Which changes affect all books?

Changes to a Footprint affect every book containing it that has not already been ordered. This includes changes to its text and photos.

Trip settings are also shared. For example, two books can have different book titles, but they cannot have different trip names or trip photos if they are based on the same trip.

Alternative: order the books one after the other

If you also want to change the underlying Footprint content or trip settings between versions, you can place two separate orders:

1. Finish and order your first book.
2. Wait at least two hours after placing the order before changing any Footprint content or trip settings.
3. Make the changes you want to your Footprints or trip.
4. Create your second book, review its preview and place a new order.

This lets you order different versions without the later changes affecting the first book.
