FindPenguins automatically designs your photo book from your Footprints, arranging your text and photos to make good use of each page.
How are Footprints arranged?
Each Footprint begins with its title, date, and text, followed by its photos.
Every Footprint starts on the next available page. This can be either a left-hand or a right-hand page. We don’t insert a blank page just to make the next Footprint start on a particular side.
How are photos arranged?
The photo layout combines one large photo with several smaller photos.
The orientation of your photos influences the arrangement. Depending on the mix of portrait and landscape photos, the large photo may appear at the top, on the left, or on the right of the page. The smaller photos are arranged around it to reduce empty space.
Photos are normally placed in chronological order. However, marking your favorite photos as important can affect this order.
What happens when I mark photos as favorites?
Photos marked as important appear larger in your book. To accommodate them and make good use of the available space, the layout may need to change the photo order. In this case, strict chronological order cannot always be preserved.
