FindPenguins automatically chooses a map view that includes all the Footprints shown on the map.
For example, if your trip includes a Footprint in London before you fly to Thailand, the map needs to show both places. This makes the part of your journey in Thailand appear much smaller.
How can I zoom in?
You can hide distant Footprints from the map while keeping their text and photos in your book:
- Edit the Footprint you want to hide, such as the one in London.
- Tap More.
- Turn on Hide on map.
- Save the Footprint.
- Return to your photo book preview and tap Recreate preview.
The map will automatically adjust to the remaining visible Footprints. In this example, it will focus on Thailand.
Your Footprint’s text and photos remain in the book. Please note that Hide on map also hides the Footprint on maps in the app and on our website.
