The FindPenguins Travel Tracker tracks your travels fully automated and in the background! The app does not have to be open and internet connection is not required.
After turning our Travel Tracker to on, your phone checks for your location every 5 minutes in balanced mode or every 5 seconds in high-accuracy mode. If your phone can detect a new location, a waypoint is recorded, but only, if you moved further than approx. 200 meters since the last waypoint.
Our Travel Tracker makes use of all the location detecting technologies your phone supports. It uses GPS, Wifi as well as the cellular signal.
